Week 1
I finally have a chance to sit and reflect on my week, not for long though as in two hours some of my fellow students and i are off the the Royal Court Theatre to see if we can nab some 10p tickets!
RADA's buildings are incredible and im surprised every day by the labarynth of halls and mass of stairs. The other day me and my friend james had to run down 3 flights of stairs (nearly crashing into 2nd year students on the way) out of the building, across chesnie street, onto Gower Street, up 6 flights of stairs to Acting room 2 where we discovered that the card we were searching for was not present, then back down 6 flights of stairs, across Gower street to the Chesnie street building then up 3/4 flights of stairs when we burst into the Henry Irving Studio out of breath to find that the card had been picked up by a girl called george! this all happened in 6 minutes: death!
i am always shocked by the level of teaching, not because it didnt expect it to be good, but because it is fantastic! i have learned so much in one week and am unbelieveably excited for monday.
There are friendly the chefs are at dinner which is a pleasant surprise. The food is so good! The other day on a break elliot, alice and i went to get some water and the man who was serving food gave us free chocolates!!! :) Despite forgetting lunch on friday, i ended up with a free meal from the canteen. why? because someone has paid for all us students at rada to eat for free on fridays. I do not know who they are but i love them to pieces!
this post has been quite grammatically and structurally strange so i apologise if it hasnt read particularly smoothly, i have had little sleep in the past week and have to go learn lines of a sonnet, part of an epic poem AND form a character for a modern greek tragedy!
the photos im about to upload are from yestedays night in Camden. ENJOY!

THE SKETCHBOOK
im keeping a sketchbook to show my time as its more personal and i have a huge fear that im going to loose my artistic talent. So, my non existant viewers... expect my blog to change as i will only upload pictures in the future.
aurevoir!
finally here!
So i'm finally in London. After leaving some chaos behind in cumbria, me and mum hit the road; silently soaring along the m6 with everything i owned packed away. I spent 50% percent of my journey worrying that i was going to collide with fast moving traffic (something i worry about often whilst on the motorway) and 50% of my time shuffling through blank mixed CDs from my time at home. My life in cumbria summarised by memories brought back to me from the words of Anna Nalick, Frank Turner and many other singer song writers.
I now have a cozy little room in Finchley and am moving from my uncles tomorrow! Although i do have the majority of kit list, i am still incredibly terrified of my first day. i feel like im starting at school all over again; though this time my mum and dad will be very, very far away.
